This French term, meaning “everything in place,” has special meaning in the kitchen. And I’ve been very busy of late, finally able to take items out of boxes and get them arranged on the newly installed steel shelving in the open pantry area of the kitchen.
Well, I am so happy to report that my application to the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) for a home based food operation has cleared its first hurdle! Yaay!!

MMMmm…. just reading over the recipes submitted in the VDACS application. There are recipes for cakes, muffins, scones, breads and cookies as well as a variety of frosting and icing recipes. Can’t wait for the application to be approved so that Bellington Farm can begin to offer these yummy delights in our Central Virginia area.
